Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the Adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experienced candidate.
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety rules (HACCP).
- Knowledge of cleaning products and how to use them.
- Knowledge of the sanitary control plan and self-checks.
- Teamwork and a sense of public service.
- Rigour, sense of priorities and quick reactions.
- Discretion, confidentiality and respect for the chain of command.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Workplace: schools and children's leisure centres (ALSH).
- Working time: 7h20 per day, between 7:20 and 18:35 depending on the department's organisation.
- Remote work is not possible.
- This job includes management duties.
