Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade (adjoint technique, category C) is an entry grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Confirmed (experienced) level
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety rules (HACCP).
- Knowledge of cleaning products and how to use them.
- Teamwork and a sense of public service.
- Strict respect of hygiene and safety rules.
- Sense of priorities, quick reactions and adaptability.
- Discretion, confidentiality and respect for the chain of command.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: October 31 (Closes in 2 days)
Apply on the employer's website linked from the offer. The cover letter and CV can also be sent by post to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Workplace: schools and children's leisure centres (ALSH).
- Hours: 7h20 per day, between 7:20 and 18:35, depending on the Directorate's schedule.
- Remote work is not possible.
- The post is vacant from 1 November 2026.
