Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Expert level stated; length not specified.
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of the territorial civil service and administrative procedures.
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety, including the HACCP method.
- Good knowledge of cleaning products and how to dose them.
- Teamwork and a sense of public service.
- Rigour in following hygiene and safety rules.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work not possible.
- Place of work: schools and children's leisure centres (ALSH).
- Hours: 7h20 per day, between 7:20 and 18:35, depending on the department's organisation.
