Civil servants in the adjoint technique job groups can apply. A person who has not passed a competition can also be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Diploma in the relevant field, level not stated.
Experience: Experience wanted in a school setting.
The profile they look for:
- Experience in a school setting is wanted.
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety rules.
- Able to work as a team and keep to schedules.
- Able to use and store cleaning machines.
- Driving licence B is wanted.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Annualised working time, 40 to 44 hours per week, with shifted hours.
- Wearing personal protective equipment is mandatory.
- The employer may organise tests or practical assessments.
