Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The entry grade allows direct hiring without a competitive exam.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of common cleaning and disinfection methods.
- Knowledge of basic hygiene and safety rules.
- Ability to use suitable cleaning equipment and products.
- Ability to organise work by schedule and priorities.
- Rigour, punctuality and professional discretion.
- Ability to work alone and with other municipal staff.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Hours vary, sometimes early in the morning or late in the day.
- Long periods standing and light lifting.
- Remote work is not possible.
