Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. The adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C, so direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know the rules for using cleaning products.
- Know hygiene and cleanliness rules.
- Be able to carry and handle equipment safely.
- Be able to work in a team and organise your work.
- Be discreet and punctual.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Possible move between the city's facilities to keep the service running.
- Wearing personal protective equipment is required.
- Physical fitness required: carrying furniture, objects and laundry.
- Hours: 39 hours a week, 6:30-14:18 or 10:12-19:00, on rotation.
