Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of cleaning products, how to dose them and store them.
- Knowledge of hygiene, cleanliness and safety rules.
- Ability to handle equipment using safe lifting and posture.
- Ability to organise your work by schedule and instructions.
- Ability to work in a team, with punctuality and discretion.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website or send your CV and cover letter by email to the town's human resources department.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Job of 30 hours per week.
- Hours from 5am to 12:30pm, sometimes early mornings and Saturday mornings.
