Civil servants and contract staff can apply. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible because the job is open to entry-level category C grades.

The profile they look for:
- Be able to work and organise yourself as part of a team.
- Be available, independent and able to take initiative.
- Be methodical and rigorous.
- Know the hygiene and food safety rules for early childhood care.
- Respect confidentiality and professional secrecy.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website. You can also send your CV and cover letter to the town hall by post.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
