Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the post is at entry level in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Know hygiene rules for public buildings and safety instructions
- Know how to use cleaning equipment and products
- Use safe lifting and handling movements
- Check that rooms are clean before leaving
- Be punctual, with suitable clothing and language
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
