Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know cleaning techniques and hygiene rules
- Know how to use cleaning products and equipment
- Know how to sort waste correctly
- Be physically fit for cleaning tasks
- Be discreet, autonomous and punctual
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your CV and cover letter to the Mayor by email, at the address given in the official offer. The application button is also on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C job, adjoint technique grade.
- Job vacant from 1 January 2027.
- A contract worker's contract is limited to 3 years, renewable up to 6 years at most.
