Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, as the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Not stated; cleaning experience would be appreciated.
The profile they look for:
- Cleaning experience, ideally in a childcare setting (appreciated).
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety rules.
- Rigour, organisation and autonomy.
- Discretion and respect for confidentiality.
- Ability to work as a team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your application by email to the employer, with a CV and a cover letter. The job is also listed on the employer’s website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Part-time post, less than 50%.
- Transport costs partly covered and restaurant card.
- Remote work not possible.
