Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service competition can be hired directly, as the grade is an entry grade of category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experienced, at least two years in cleaning.
The profile they look for:
- Have at least two years of successful experience in cleaning.
- Organise work according to the schedule and instructions.
- Use products according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Know how to tell acidic and alkaline products apart.
- Report faults or problems to the line manager.
- Be discreet when working in occupied premises.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- Work can start early in the morning or finish at 7:30 pm.
- Travel between buildings is required.
- The post has no management duties.
