Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, at the Adjoint technique grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experienced candidate required.
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and protocols.
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety rules.
- Organised, methodical and able to work in a team.
- Practical sense, discretion and rigour.
- Adaptability and versatility.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Non-full-time post, less than 50% of a full-time schedule.
- Split hours, set by annual schedules, with moves between schools.
- Manual handling and repetitive movements; protective equipment is mandatory.
- Remote work not possible.
