1 Check the conditions You are here
Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C. You must live in the chosen mobility zone or in a neighbouring town.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know cleaning procedures and the right products
- Apply hygiene and safety rules, including the HACCP method
- Organise your work using a schedule and instructions
- Follow protocols strictly and report to your manager
- Show autonomy, rigour and teamwork skills
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- You must be able to move across the whole chosen zone, without exception
- You must have transport to reach all the high schools in the zone
- Annualised working time with variable hours
