Open to civil servants and contract workers. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP level preferred
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques and equipment.
- Knowledge of correct dosages and proportions.
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and school canteen rules.
- Organise work according to instructions and the schedule.
- Report equipment faults or problems to the line manager.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
