Civil servants (permanent staff, transfer, secondment) and contract staff can apply. The grades are adjoint technique and adjoint technique principal 1st or 2nd class. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible.
Category: Category C (staff)

- Good team spirit.
- Quick to react and careful with detail.
- Respects the chain of command and the rules.
- Shows initiative and reports to a manager.
- Driving licence category B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Outdoor work in all weather, sometimes at night or on weekends.
- On-call duty for winter road care and qualified watch.
- Category C or EC licence recommended; CACES depending on machines.
