Civil servants can apply by transfer, secondment or aptitude list, for the adjoint technique grades. Contract staff can also be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C, without a competitive exam.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Basic knowledge of road and structure maintenance
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to work on your own
- Driving licence B and C, or ability to obtain them
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 13 (Closes in 12 days)
Apply on the employer's website, using the button on the offer on Choisir le Service Public. You can also send your file by post or email to the Human Resources Department of the Département.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- On-call duty in summer and for winter road conditions
- Category C job, no remote work possible
- Driving licences B and C required, or ability to obtain them
