Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the adjoint technique grade (category C) is an entry grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners accepted
The profile they look for:
- Know cleaning and disinfection techniques.
- Follow the rules for using and storing products.
- Work carefully, methodically and with rigour.
- Keep to a strict schedule and report back.
- Be friendly, calm, patient and discreet.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send a cover letter and CV by post or email to the town hall's human resources department.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C job, with no management duties.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Parking attendant duties at the relief car park during the summer season.
