Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents. You do not need to have passed a competition, because the entry grade allows direct hiring. Grades: adjoint technique, adjoint technique principal 2nd or 1st class.

The profile they look for:
- Know hygiene and food safety rules (HACCP).
- Manage stock well.
- Be able to supervise and support children during mealtimes.
- Show punctuality, regular attendance and adaptability.
- Have a public service mindset and respect the duty of discretion.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
