Civil servants and contract agents can apply. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible for this category C grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experienced candidate.
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety rules.
- Knowledge of the HACCP method.
- Basic cooking skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning and disinfection protocols.
- Basic understanding of teenagers.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- Working hours follow the meal service.
- Frequent lifting and standing.
- Wearing regulation work clothing is required.
