Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry-level category C grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experienced (confirmé level).
The profile they look for:
- Know food hygiene and safety rules.
- Know the HACCP method.
- Have basic knowledge of cooking techniques.
- Apply cleaning and disinfection procedures.
- Have some knowledge of working with teenagers.
- Work well in a team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
