Permanent civil servants and contract staff can apply. An entry grade in category C allows direct hiring without a competitive exam.

The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety rules
- Knowledge of the HACCP method
- Basic cooking techniques
- Notions of teamwork
- Notions about teenagers as users
- Knowledge of cleaning and disinfection procedures
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work not possible.
- Working hours follow the meal service.
- Carrying loads and standing for long periods required.
- Official work clothing required.
