Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Be able to work around children.
- Show patience and appropriate authority.
- Know the basic rules of the highway code.
- Know and follow safety instructions.
- Be punctual, reliable and careful.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 23 (Closes in 23 days)
Send your CV and cover letter by email to the town hall, addressed to the Mayor. The address is given in the official offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
