Civil servants and contract agents can apply. No competitive exam is needed, because the entry grade in category C allows direct hiring.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEP, or brevet des collèges
The profile they look for:
- CAP, BEP or brevet des collèges
- Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP methods
- Good knowledge of cleaning products and techniques
- Knowledge of safe lifting and working postures
- Team spirit and punctuality
- Able to organise work and report on activity
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 26 (Closes in 57 days)
Send your CV and cover letter by email to the city's recruitment service, or by post to the Human Resources Department. The offer is also published on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time job, 37.5 hours per week, with shifts from 7:00 to 14:30 or from 10:30 to 18:00
- 25 days of paid leave and 15 days of RTT time off
- Frequent travel between sites and long periods of physical work standing up
