Civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know how to use cleaning machines, such as scrubbers and vacuum cleaners.
- Apply hygiene, safety and HACCP rules.
- Follow schedules and the cleaning work method.
- Be punctual, discreet, methodical and organised.
- Have a team spirit and a sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter by email or by post to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Wearing a blouse, jacket, gloves and cleaning shoes is mandatory.
- You must be able to handle service needs.
