Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade of category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Follow hygiene, safety and collective catering rules (HACCP).
- Be rigorous, punctual and discreet in occupied rooms.
- Know professional cleaning products and equipment.
- Basic understanding of percentages, dosage and proportions.
- Good people skills and teamwork.
- Show initiative.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 20 (Closes in 20 days)
Apply on the employer's website or send your CV and cover letter to the Mayor by post, before the deadline.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
