Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know food hygiene rules.
- Know cleaning techniques for rooms.
- Use mechanical cleaning equipment.
- Adapt to varied tasks and work well in a team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Contribution to health and provident insurance if the contract is labelled.
- Bonus scheme (RIFSEEP and CIA).
