Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who is not a civil servant can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know food hygiene rules.
- Know cleaning techniques for rooms.
- Be able to use mechanical cleaning equipment.
- Be adaptable and work well in a team.
- Know how to use and store products and equipment.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Personal protective equipment provided.
- Contribution to health and provident insurance if the contract is labelled.
- Ongoing training and support to prepare for public service exams in the territorial civil service.
