Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade offered is an entry-level category C grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know the products and follow the usage instructions.
- Know HACCP rules and safety rules.
- Be able to work as part of a team.
- Be organised, careful and methodical.
- Be independent, adaptable and discreet.
- Be able to report back and flag problems.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 12 (Closes in 12 days)
Apply on Emploi-Territorial and quote the job reference. You can also write to the town hall by email or by post, for the attention of the human resources department.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- Working time is annualised, and leave must be taken during school holidays.
- Work clothes are required (white coat, hairnet, gloves).
- May be asked to cover for a colleague in another school, including during holidays.
