Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade is adjoint technique (category C).
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEP (level V)
The profile they look for:
- Know health and safety rules.
- Be able to handle heavy loads and hot equipment.
- Be able to use toxic products safely.
- Be good at welcoming the public, in person and by phone.
- Be able to work in a hot, humid and noisy environment.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Hours: 9am-11am and 11:30am-6:30pm, except Wednesday: 11:30am-4:30pm.
