Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A competitive exam is not required, because the entry grade in category C allows direct hiring.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and cleaning products.
- Able to stand for long periods.
- Good people skills with the public, children and the team.
- Able to supervise a group of children.
- Shows initiative.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 12 (Closes in 13 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or email your cover letter and CV as PDF files to the town hall. You can also send your application by post.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- The job is a replacement for another worker.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Category C post, with no management duties.
