Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can apply, because the entry grade of category C allows direct hiring. Grade: agent social.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP Petite Enfance (a plus), or Bac pro ASSP, or Bac pro SAPAT, or BEP sanitaire et social
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of child development from 0 to 4 years old
- Knowledge of safety rules and instructions
- Knowledge of hygiene and cleaning
- Childcare activity techniques
- Vigilance, autonomy, energy and teamwork
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full time, hours from 11:30 to 19:15 with 45 minutes break at lunchtime
- Working time: 50% cleaning and 50% supervising children
- Benefits: CNAS, meal vouchers 60% paid by the employer, contribution to health insurance and provident insurance
