Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because the post is open to entry-level category C grades.

The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of cleaning, maintenance and sorting techniques.
- Skill in using equipment and cleaning products.
- Knowledge of hygiene, disinfection and safety.
- Methodical work organisation and time management.
- Rigour, efficiency and teamwork.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
