Civil servants and contract staff. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly for this category C grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experienced candidate required.
The profile they look for:
- Ability to organise your own work.
- Knowledge of cleaning rules and cleaning techniques.
- Knowledge of how to use and store cleaning products.
- Discretion and confidentiality.
- Good working relations with teachers, staff, elected officials and managers.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your application by post to the town hall, for the attention of the Mayor, with your CV and cover letter. You can also apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
