2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Replacement job, open only to contract staff (art. L332-13 of the General Civil Service Code).
- Category C, no management duties.
- Remote work not possible.
- Contract length of 0.5 months, may be extended depending on the replaced worker.
