Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade of category C allows it. People recognised as disabled workers can also be hired on contract.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners accepted
The profile they look for:
- Know cleaning methods for premises and machines
- Apply HACCP rules and the cleaning plan
- Know the rules of waste sorting
- Work well in a team with all staff
- Adapt to new equipment and service constraints
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 2 (Closes tomorrow)
Apply on the employer's website from the official offer on Choisir le Service Public. You can also send your file by email to the authority, quoting the offer reference.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Start possible from 6:30 am, with rotation between morning and afternoon shifts
- Annual schedule with some work during school holidays
- Once a year, possible work on a Saturday morning or a Friday evening
