Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Skill with garden equipment (lawn mower, backpack blower, petrol hedge trimmer).
- Knowledge of horticulture and ornamental plants.
- Punctual, reliable and a good team player.
- Sense of public service.
- A driving licence is required.
- Able to carry out work from a work plan.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 13 (Closes in 13 days)
Apply on the employer's website or send your application by email to the town. The file needs a cover letter and a CV.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- A driving licence is required.
- Category C, grade of adjoint technique.
