Civil servants and contract staff. A person without a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry-level category C grade. Grades: adjoint technique, adjoint technique principal 1st or 2nd class.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BEPA or vocational bac in green spaces development, preferred
Experience: Experience and qualifications in green spaces work, strongly preferred
The profile they look for:
- Able to report on their work.
- Good physical fitness and a team spirit.
- Takes initiative, works on their own, and is careful.
- Basic small engine repair knowledge strongly preferred.
- Driving licence B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full time, with hours that vary by season.
- Mostly outdoor work, in all seasons.
- Driving licence C would be a plus.
- Remote work not possible.
