Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry-level category C grade (adjoint technique).
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Confirmed experience.
The profile they look for:
- Know green space and road maintenance techniques.
- Know safety rules and the toxicity of products.
- Be able to read a manual, a plan or instructions.
- Be rigorous, responsive and a good listener.
- Work on your own day to day, while checking with your manager.
- Driving licence category B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- No remote work possible.
- Driving licence category B required; electrical work authorisations requested.
- Working time of 35 hours, with regular or shifted hours and annualised working time.
- Availability requested for exceptional operations and events.
