Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service competitive exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or agricultural professional certificate (brevet professionnel), green spaces option
Experience: Experienced, at least 3 years
The profile they look for:
- CAP or agricultural professional certificate, green spaces option
- At least 3 years of work experience
- Car driving licence required
- CACES categories 1 to 4 wanted
- PL licence and 750 kg trailer licence wanted
- Versatility and ability to read a plan or manual
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, the commune, with your cover letter and CV.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- No management role.
- PL licence, trailer and CACES are wanted, not required.
