Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, as the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experienced candidates requested.
The profile they look for:
- Driving licence B required, licence C an advantage.
- Know how to recognise, prune and look after plants.
- Use plant treatment products safely.
- Know and follow workplace safety rules.
- Use professional motorised equipment.
- Good physical fitness and good teamwork.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 15 (Closes in 15 days)
Apply on the employer's website, using the button on the offer page on Choisir le Service Public. Attach your cover letter and CV.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time work spread over 4 days.
- Remote work not possible.
- Benefits: meal vouchers (25 € per month), health and provident insurance contributions, CNAS, ski pass.
