Open to civil servants and contract agents. Direct hiring without a competition is possible, because the entry grade is category C. Recognised disabled workers can also apply under contract.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Good knowledge of horticulture and green space maintenance
- Skilled use of garden machinery and tools
- Strict respect of safety rules
- Able to work alone or in a pair
- Team spirit and good contact with residents
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 7 (Closes in 6 days)
Apply on the employer's website or send your file by post to the town hall. Applications go to the town hall, with a cover letter and CV.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Car driving licence (permis B) required
- Possible certificates: CACES, aerial platform, road signage
- Post vacant from 1 January 2027
- No remote work
