Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired, because the entry grade is category C (adjoint technique).
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experience at confirmed level.
The profile they look for:
- Driving licence category B required, category C preferred.
- Safely use powered professional equipment and plant protection products.
- Know green space maintenance methods and recognise plants.
- Know how to prune shrubs and trees.
- Good physical fitness and good team spirit.
- Rigour, autonomy and a sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
