Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a competitive exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BEPA or vocational baccalaureate, green space development option
Experience: Ideally gained in a local authority
The profile they look for:
- BEPA or vocational baccalaureate in green space development.
- Know plants and pruning techniques.
- Be able to use motorised equipment safely.
- Category B driving licence required and CACES requested.
- Organised, rigorous and a good team player.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- Winter road duty one week per month, from 15/11 to 15/3.
- Support is provided when you start the job.
