Civil servants (titulaires) and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a public exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry level in category C.

Diploma: BEPA in landscape development works, or equivalent experience
Experience: Beginners accepted
The profile they look for:
- BEPA in landscape development works, or equivalent work experience
- Good knowledge of plants and how to care for them
- Driving licences B, EB and heavy goods vehicle
- CACES certificate for platform lift
- Skilled in green space equipment, including agricultural tractor
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website linked from the official offer. Also send a handwritten cover letter and a detailed CV by post to the human resources department.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Job based at the town's technical centre in Méru.
- Hours: 8am-12pm and 1:15pm-5pm.
- Winter on-call duty, and possible weekend work during town festivities.
- Personal protective equipment is mandatory.
