Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a competition can be hired directly, because the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BEPA or vocational baccalaureate, green spaces development option
Experience: Experienced
The profile they look for:
- Driving licence B required; licence C preferred.
- Know green space maintenance techniques.
- Know how to identify plants and use plant protection products.
- Safely use professional motorised equipment.
- Good physical fitness and teamwork.
- Follow safety rules and instructions.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 1 (Closes tomorrow)
Apply on the employer's website or send your application by email to the town hall. Applications are addressed to the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible for this job.
- No management role.
- Post vacant from 1 November 2026.
- Driving licence C is preferred in addition to the mandatory licence B.
