Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the adjoint technique grade (category C) is an entry grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BEPA or vocational bac, option green space development
The profile they look for:
- BEPA or vocational bac in green space development.
- Driving licence B required, licence C wanted.
- Able to use plant treatment products and motorised machines safely.
- Able to recognise plants and prune shrubs and trees.
- Good physical fitness and teamwork.
- Careful with instructions and a public service mindset.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
