Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A candidate who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry-level category C grade.

Diploma: CAPA minimum, or BTS or BEPA

2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Working hours of 37.5 hours per week, with 25 days of paid leave and 15 RTT days
- Work outside normal hours possible for events or weather conditions
- Use of dangerous machines and work at height
- Valid car driving licence required, heavy vehicle licence appreciated
