Civil servants (titulaires) and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Green spaces qualification wanted (CAP, BEPA, Bac Pro)
Experience: Experienced; similar experience wanted

- In-depth knowledge of plants and maintenance techniques.
- Interest in the environment and sustainable development.
- Similar work experience wanted.
- Follows workplace safety rules.
- Driving licence category B required; BE licence and CACES certificate appreciated.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply before 5 November 2026, on the employer's website, by letter to the town hall or by email to the human resources team.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Outdoor work in all seasons and all weather.
- Safety clothing required (PPE).
- On-call duty of about one week per month.
- Full time on a 36-hour cycle, with 6 days of RTT leave.
