Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, at a category C grade (adjoint technique).
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: A landscaping diploma would be a plus: CAPA jardinier paysagiste, BP/BEPA or Bac pro aménagements paysagers.
Experience: Experienced. Significant experience is appreciated.
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of plants, pruning, planting and upkeep (essential).
- Knowledge of differentiated management and ecological practices (essential).
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety rules (essential).
- Skilled use of motorised maintenance equipment.
- Driving licence category B required.
- Public service mindset, rigour and autonomy.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
